Hairdresser
Brief job description: Coloring, Cutting, Styling hair
Skills needed: a creative mind, good communication skills, a strong work ethic, knowledge of the latest hair trends, and a passion for the work.
Education needed: In Texas, you are required to complete 1500 hours at a cosmetology school and pass a written and practical state board exam to receive your cosmetology license.
Fun fact about my job: You can work for a salon owner or you can rent a chair at a salon and be your own boss.
Favorite thing about my job: My job rarely gets boring. I’m moving around all the time & every day is a new creative project with different clients.
