During our career fair today we connected girl scouts with professionals – this is from the series of the Career Data Card we provided:
Interior Designer
Brief job description: Provide hands on interior design service in a casual environment while emphasizing quality in every home we have the opportunity to work within
Skills needed: The ability to visualize and to be open to new ideas and cultures, as well as, a love of the history of art and design. The ability to see the creation and design in all things, as well as, the ability to be organized and resourceful with careful attention to detail
Education needed: Degree in Interior Design and/or an Art, Marketing, Literature degree
Fun fact about my job: Getting to create a space for our friends/clients that they love while putting our design touch on each room
Favorite thing about my job: Every day is a new experience with new people and we love the creativity required that the job brings on a daily basis!
